Program Cost & NePSD Policies:
The cost of each program varies based on the number of students enrolled. NePSD offers team discounts for certain programs. All programs require a minimum of eight (8) students, unless otherwise agreed upon in this bid. Travel expenses are to be paid by the hosting team regardless of the number of students. NePSD will run programs with less than the required minimum, but the hosting team is still required to pay the minimum of eight (8) students plus, travel.
Hosting teams and/or students paying NePSD directly, must provide a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the cost per student to secure a spot in any program, or to secure dates for the hosting team. Hosting teams can also provide a purchase order number for the full bid amount, including the travel to secure dates. All teams or students paying NePSD directly without a purchase order must submit payment in full within 45 days of the program start date, or at time of registration, if less than 45 days from program start date.
Any participating divers must complete all paperwork that is sent via email to the registered student or the point of contact for the hosting team. All new students must include a complete medical evaluation performed by a certified physician clearing them to scuba dive. A copy of a recent physical, within 1 year of program start, will be accepted by NePSD. The medical evaluation and all paperwork, including completed e-learning shall be submitted via email no later than 1 week prior to the start of the program. There are no exceptions for missing paperwork. NePSD reserves the right to remove any student from the program if the medical evaluation or paperwork is not complete or the student’s failure of the medical evaluation.
Cancellation & Make-Ups:
Hosting team or any student can cancel up to 45 days prior to the start date of class to receive a full refund. Cancellation less than 45 days of the program start will result in the refund of the total amount less the 25% non-refundable deposit. If the hosting team used a purchase order to secure the program dates, and cancelled the program, the hosting team is still responsible for paying NePSD the 25% non-refundable deposit for each registered student that is listed in the program.
If the Hosting team or any student cancels within 29 days of the first day of the program a refund of no more than 50% of the program cost (for teams) or per student cost (individual) if NePSD was paid direct. The remaining balance is non-refundable. The hosting team paying with a purchase order is still responsible for paying NePSD the 25% non-refundable for each registered student in the program. If the hosting team or any student cancels 14 days or less, including the day of, prior to the program start date, no refund will be offered. If a hosting team or student wishes to make up a class or program, a fee of $650 per student is required to be paid to NePSD prior to registration for any future classes or program.
Failure to Complete Program Requirements:
If any student attended all classes and did all the required course work, but could not meet the requirements of the program, is required to make up or remediate the class. There will be a fee of $350 paid to NePSD, unless prior agreement is made in writing. If a student misses a single class and is required to make up or remediate that class to complete the requirements there will be a fee of $450 charged per missed day paid to NePSD unless prior agreement is made in writing.
