We are running Friday night classroom at hotel in Monticello NY, Saturday ice technician, & Sunday NePSD’s specialty Thin Ice Technician & UCI Ice Specialist that where both proudly designed by our owner & staff
The UCI Ice Specialist was written by Mike Berry and Tim Andro and designed to bring divers to the next level with a UCI custom search pattern to allow the recovery of evidence from under the ice!! This program is not taught anywhere in the world and this year Mike Berry himself will be joining us!!
The ERDI Thin Ice is vetted by ERDI to a Technician Level program. This program is now part of the two-day ice program we offer every year! Our goal has always been to provide our students with the next level of training, this program was exactly that. SPECIAL GUEST THIS YEAR
We are very excited to have Mike Berry Owner of UCI https://www.ucidiver.com/ back again this year! Mike will be discussing the FBI anthrax case which had over 350 ice dives with no injuries!! Mike will also be teaching some of the techniques used during the operation. Don’t miss out on this rare opportunity to work with Mike on the ice, I know we are very excited!!
The truth of this all is, unsuspecting victims fall through ice multiple times a year in every jurisdiction that gets cold enough…
As public safety divers, our job is to be prepared, trained, and willing to venture under that ice to either save a life, bring the victim home or recovery of evidence.
Trust us, diving under ice IS NOT “just another overhead environment.”
We find the ice and bring all the gear to set up the operation. You bring your dive gear and a willing attitude.
At the completion of the full weekend students will walk away with their ERDI Ice Dive Technician, ERDI Thin Ice Diver & UCI Ice Specialist certification’s
